Stillwater Spa

We walked into the Hyatt and the customer service was lovely from start to finish. The concierge and spa receptionist were warm, welcoming, and professional. The spa itself has a classic charm; a little outdated for 2025, but it gives off that 1990s rich and bougie feel. The waiting area was cute, with snacks and drinks, and the overall ambiance was calm and relaxing. That said, the facial itself was disappointing. My facialist was friendly and kind, but for the price I paid, the treatment felt very mediocre. It was more of a gentle face massage than a true facial. There were no tools or devices used, no steam, minimal extraction, and no suction or deep cleansing steps. I think I had a hot towel applied about eight times and one cold towel at the end… and that was essentially it. Overall, it’s a nice spa for relaxation, but I wouldn’t recommend coming here for a facial. Extremely underwhelmed by the service considering the price.

Had a fabulous experience at Stillwater Spa as soon as I walked in! The staff were kind and able to fit me into a last-minute appointment. My massage therapist, Liz, was a Godsend! It was by far my favourite massage in a very long time. Additionally, the hot tub was a great highlight to start my evening and relax. The lounge was a quaint place to rest and have a couple of snacks. I also appreciated the locker system and found it very user-friendly.

I was a bit unsure after reading a few negative reviews… but I’m so glad I booked a massage with Liz during my visit to Calgary! Yes, you pay more than a traditional massage but you get so much more included with access to the steam room, whirlpool and lounge. The facility is beautiful, clean and well maintained. If you want to be pampered, this is the spot!

I came here for the first time with my wife. We got a couples massage. I must say it is a really nice spot. The change area’s have a steam room and hot tube that you can utilize before your treatment which really relaxes you. They have a sitting area with healthy snacks, organic herbal tea’s, cucumber and lemon water. I would recommend showing up 30 to 60 mins prior to your treatment so you can use the amenities and get yourself in a truly relaxed mind and body state. Our massage was also great. The shower has everything you need with body wash, shampoo and conditioner. They also have spray underarm deodorant, hair gel, combs, q-tips....etc Basically all you need to do is show up with a bathing suite and enjoy your time there. I would recommend this place.

Massages were lovely. Staff were great. The steam room and whirlpool are in the changing rooms so going with someone of not the same gender will be alone for that part.
